Applying for a Reduced Fee
Parents Forever™ meets Minnesota Supreme Court minimum standards for parent education and is court approved. Minnesota Statute 518.157, subd. 6 says that if a parent is determined by the court to be in forma pauperis (IFP), a parent is not required to pay the parent education program fee. This means if you are involved in a case through the Minnesota court system and have been given court-ordered IFP status, you can take the Parents Forever™ Online Course for Parents for free!
The statute also says that a sliding fee scale must be offered for parents who are involved in a case through the Minnesota court system and do not have the court-ordered IFP status but cannot afford to pay the full fee.
