Parents Forever™ — Hennepin County, Parent Education Twin Cities

Parent Education Twin Cities, in partnership with the University of Minnesota Extension Center for Family Development, is hosting a Parents Forever™ program in Hennepin County.

All classes will be offered at Tralle Law (2021 East Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55413) which is conveniently located in Northeast Minneapolis, between 35W and Hwy 280.

This course is offered on the second Friday of the month. This course qualifies as a coparenting class if you have been court-ordered by a Minnesota Court to take a coparenting course.

July 2018 1 July 20 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
August 2018 1 August 17 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
September 2018 1 September 14 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
October 2018 1 October 12 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
November 2018 1 November 9 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Registration for the classes is open until 24 hours before the class begins. Registered participants will be notified of any cancellation 3 days prior if minimum of 4 participants have not yet registered. Participants will be offered an option to reschedule classes or a refund.

Paying for the Hennepin County Program

The registration fee for the entire Hennepin county Parents Forever™ program is $100. You may qualify for a fee waiver or reduction as described below:

About the Facilitators

Lisa is a certified parenting coach and family life educator in the Twin Cities. Her special interests include empowering parents to build strong relationships with their children that foster success and resilience. Lisa received her M.A. and coaching certification from Concordia University St. Paul, where she is currently an adjunct professor in the Family Science department. She also has a private parent coaching practice specializing in children with challenging behaviors. Lisa lives in the Twin Cities area with her husband, teenage son, two cats, and two dogs.

Claire is a family law attorney in northeast Minneapolis. She has a special interest in educating clients about the legal process and working with the other parent in an effort to make a smoother transition for the children. Claire received her J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. She is a qualified neutral under Rule 114. She serves clients in Hennepin, Anoka, Ramsey, Washington, Sherburne, Wright, Carver, Dakota, and Scott counties. Claire lives in Minneapolis with her husband, daughter, and two cats.
