Speaking up and asking for help when you truly need it isn’t a sign of weakness. It's a sign of strength and a step in right direction for getting you and your family’s needs met. Minnesota offers many resources to assist you and your family, whether you have an ongoing need or just need something to help you get through a tough time.

No matter your individual situation, the following resources are available to help you get connected to nutrition assistance.

ApplyMNMinnesota Department of Human Services — Apply for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), cash assistance, child care assistance, and emergency help.

Minnesota Food HelpLineHunger Solutions Minnesota — Assess your situation and find solutions for your family's food needs with this phone line and website. Visit the website or call 1-888-711-1151.

Searchable Food Help MapHunger Solutions Minnesota — Find a food shelf, Meals on Wheels, Summer Food Service Program, food support office, or WIC program near you.

Fare For All — Save up to 40 percent on groceries by getting pre-packed fruits, vegetables, and meat at a Fare For All site. Over 30 locations in Twin Cities and St. Cloud metro areas are open once a month to everyone. There's no need to register in advance.
