Cream soup mix

Mix up a batch of this soup mix to keep on hand. It will help you make homemade soups, sauces, and meals in less time.

Number of servings: 8
Serving Size: 1/3 cup


2 cups non-fat dry milk

3/4 cup cornstarch

1/4 cup instant chicken bouillon

2 tablespoons dried onion flakes

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Optional: 1 teaspoon dried basil


Time needed: 5 minutes preparation; 15 minutes cook time

  1. Combine all ingredients. Mix well and place in an airtight container. Store in refrigerator or freezer.
  2. When using the mix, combine 1/3 cup of the mix with 1 1/4 cups water in a saucepan. Cook and stir until thickened.
