Go Wild

The comprehensive Go Wild programs encourage students in grades 3-5 to eat more servings of healthy foods and become more physically active.

Currently, two different Go Wild programs are being offered in Minnesota:

More than just a lesson plan, Go Wild programs are engaging, fun, and experiential. Through the use of animal characters (the Go Wild Bunch) and interactive activities, students learn why healthy food and physical activity are good for their growing bodies.

The programs provide hands-on opportunities to taste healthy foods during the lessons — both at school and at home.

Go Wild programs also challenge students to add physical activity to their school day. Fun music, like the Go Wild theme songs, encourage students to get up and get moving! Find out how to Go Wild about physical activity with your own children and/or students.

Go Wild uses a social marketing approach to engage people who influence students' food choice and physical activity level. Read how Go Wild engages parents, teachers, and school foodservice staff. The well-written activities make Go Wild easy to use and learn from. Hear what people have to say about Go Wild.
