Seminar for Parents: College Finance
University of Minnesota Extension has collaborated with the University of Minnesota Parent Program and the Department of Family Social Science to develop an online course which provides parents tools to help them guide their college-aged children in managing their finances.
It provides talking points, comments from parents and college students, and suggestions on what parents can do to help their student make smart choices about finances.
About the Course
Who: Any parent of a college student or soon-to-be college student.
Why: It is often difficult for college students to talk to their parents about finances.
What: An online course you can take at your own convenience and resources you can use when you need them.
