Marijo Wunderlich joined the University of Minnesota Applied Research and Evaluation team as a research associate in 2016. Marijo supports health and nutrition research and evaluation projects with a focus on policy, systems, and environmental (PSE) change. Marijo has over 20 years of experience conducting research and evaluation in community-based and public health settings, including evaluation for the St Paul Ramsey County Health Department, Rainbow Research, African American Leadership Council, and the WK Kellogg Foundation. She has taught in the U of M School of Public Health and worked extensively for the World Health Organization while on faculty at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.

Marijo has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences from St. Olaf College, a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Michigan, and a doctorate degree in Public Health from the University of Illinois.
