Ryan Johnson joined the University of Minnesota Extension in 2010. He currently works as an associate program director with Health and Nutrition and as a liaison to the Minnesota Department of Human Services Office of Economic Opportunity. Ryan manages the SNAP Education Community Partnership Funding initiative, administers engagement and communication projects, and provides policy education and analysis for internal and external audiences. Prior to Extension, Ryan worked on economic and social justice issues for children and families living in poverty with nonprofit organizations in Minneapolis and Saint Paul.

Ryan earned a Master of Public Affairs degree with a concentration in Public and Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at University of Minnesota — Twin Cities.
