Sharon Mulé joined the Extension Center for Family Development as the staff development coordinator January 2016. Prior to Extension, Sharon was a project coordinator and a Check & Connect (C&C) national trainer at the Institute on Community Integration at University of Minnesota. Recently, she worked on a statewide launch of C&C with the Florida State Personnel Development Grant. Previously, she was the coordinator for Connecting through Service, a student retention project with the Fond du Lac community, and Minnesota E-Connect, a statewide e-mentoring program for youth with disabilities. Prior to her work at the University, Sharon was a program specialist at Arc Greater Twin Cities providing training on special education law. She has a long history of working with children and families, including 11 years as a school readiness home visitor, and she continues to teach parent education programs in her community.

Sharon earned a B.S. in Behavioral Sciences from Grand Valley State University in Michigan and a Professional Train-The-Trainer Certificate from University of Minnesota — College of Continuing Education.
