Michael Brott joined the Extension Center for Family Development in 2010. Prior to 2010, Michael served as the associate director with the Children, Youth & Family Consortium at University of Minnesota.

Michael is currently the communications manager for Family Development where he sets, guides, and implements the Center's communications strategies. Michael provides leadership for internal and external public relations, marketing, media relations, and strategic communications to consistently articulate the Center's mission, and to promote the Extension brand across the Center and its programs. He is also the co-manager of the Family Development Communications Team.

Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in government from St. Johns University, Collegeville.
