If you are watching your weight and reading the Nutrition Facts label to try to reduce sugar in your diet, you might be confused with the types of sugars found in food, whether natural or added. Jill May, a health and nutrition educator with the University of Minnesota Extension Service, says people should be especially mindful of added sugars.
