Includes: administration; social services (children and families, chemical dependency, mental health, developmentally disabled); adult day care and nursing homes; mental health (outpatient therapy, community support, and youth resource program); day treatment; income maintenance (financial assistance, medical assistance, food stamps, child support, and fraud investigations); court services (out of home placement and therapeutic services for delinquent youth); transportation (bus and volunteer transportation for elderly and disabled); employment and training (child care licensing, child care assistance, job search, and placement programs).

Money that comes in for ditches and is spent on ditches only.
Roads and Bridges—15.2%
Surveyor, administration, engineering, maintenance, equipment and shop, construction, ditches, and non-departmental.
Waste Management—1.7%
Recycling and hazardous waste program.

Criminal Justice—18.7%
Includes court system—courts, judges, court administration, probation officers.
Debt Service—3.9%
Repaying debts (e.g., construction of buildings—jail, roads.

Money that comes into the county from grants and as a result spent from them (in and out).

Includes: administration; assessor; attorney; auditor; commissioners; community health services; court administration; court services; ditch allocation; emergency services/risk; fuel allocation; Minnesota Extension Service—"No-Where" County; parks; planning and zoning; recorder; sheriff; treasurer; veterans services; HRA; non-departmental; and rail authority.
