This is part of the Simply Good Eating nutrition education curriculum. This CD contains Spanish versions of the handouts for the Simply Good Eating: Now You’re Cooking! Book. Recommended for educators teaching nutrition, it contains an easy-to-print handouts that support the key lessons of the unit: planning healthy meals on a limited budget, stretching food dollars, storing foods appropriately, makingmeals from ingredients commonly found in the kitchen, and cooking with an emphasis on safe food practices. These handouts are highly adaptable to the needs and interests of Latino participants and they comply with the 2005 Dietary Guidelines for Americans and MyPyramid.
