Introduction

This is part of the Simply Good Eating nutrition education curriculum. This CD contains Spanish versions of the handouts for the Simply Good Eating for Seniors Book. Recommended for educators teaching nutrition to seniors, it contains an easy-to-print handouts that support the key lessons of the unit: eating more calcium-containing foods; reducing intake of fat and salt to reduce heart disease risk; and planning meals that are tasty, attractive, and economical when cooking for one or two. These handouts are highly adaptable to the needs and interests of Latino participants and they comply with the 2005 Dietary Guidelines for Americans and MyPyramid.
