IntroductionThis is part of the Simple Good Eating nutrition education curriculum. This CD contains Spanish versions of the Simply Good Eating for Health: Comparison Cards (08403). Recommended for educators teaching nutrition, it contains an easy-to-print set of 35 colorful cards that help participants learn what nutrients are in common foods and how to substitute more nutritious foods for higher-fat and -sugar foods. These 2-sided cards allows the participants to view full color illustrations of foods being discussed, while the educator views a listing of the food groups, nutrients, calories, and fat for each food. These cards are highly adaptable to the needs and interests of Latino participants and they comply with the 2005 Dietary Guidelines for Americans and MyPyramid.
