The Simply Good Eating curriculum helps nutrition educators teach participants basic nutrition principles on food choices, planning healthy meals on a limited budget, stretching their food dollar, and cooking with an emphasis on safe food practices. A variety of resources and activities can be used, including reproducible handouts on the accompanying CDs. Uses experiential learning and proven teaching strategies for children, teens, and adult participants. Complies with the 2005 Dietary Guidelines for Americans and MyPyramid. Recommended for EFNEP and FSNEP staff, other nutrition educators, and teachers.
