Videos (Loan basis)
Household Hazardous Wastes, 9 minutes (1988). Narrated by Dave Moore, this video discusses household hazardous wastes and the dangers of improper disposal. It suggests proper disposal methods and gives shopping hints to reduce the amount of HHW that you create. Appropriate for grades 4 & up.

Cleaning Up Toxics at Home, 25 minutes (1990). Developed by the League of Women Voters of California. The video highlights household hazardous waste collection sites in California. It gives hints for storing and using potentially hazardous products in the home. Specific to California, but can be adapted to local audiences. Appropriate for grades 8 & up.
