This is an educational package that features a 15-minute videotape that explains the effects of population growth and consumption on the environment and presents informed perspectives on materials. It includes a Leader's Guide (see below) that provides an overview of the videotape, suggestions for group presentations, and a survey that can be photocopied and given to participants to help them identify their perceptions and misperceptions about materials use. It includes two additional companion publications on forest landscapes and fire ecology.
