Scented geraniums, Pelargonium species, are fun to touch. Gently rub the foliage to break the oil glands and marvel at the different fragrances. They are grown from cuttings or purchased as plants and are usually raised as potted plants. Some of the scents available are orange, rose, peppermint, apple, apricot, cinnamon, and even chocolate! Some scented geraniums produce insignificant flowers. The flowers and leaves are used in potpourri and aromatherapy.
