Authors: Kathy Zuzek and Steve McNamara are horticultural scientists at the University of Minnesota Horticultural Research Center. Marcia Richards is a volunteer research assistant at the Center. Harold Pellett is a professor of horticultural science at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. The Arboretum and the Research Center are both located in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
