Parents Forever: Pathways to a New Life Educator Guide

Introduction

Pathways to a New Life, designed as the final session of PARENTS FOREVER, will help parents envision a new, positive future for themselves and their children. Introduced are tools for the future, including communication skills and other essential elements for a new life. Possible paths their future may take are examined, including reconciliation, single parenting, a new relationship; also examined are the possible effects of a new partner on the uncoupled parents as well as stepfamily development. Each of these situations accounts for the adjustment and well-being of the children.
