This product was developed to help parents:

  1. Understand how important peers are to teens.
  2. Discover basics of relationships among peers.
  3. Understand how peer pressure influences teens as they grow up.
  4. List positives and negatives of peer pressure
  5. Learn ways families influence their teen’s attitudes,interests and beliefs.

All of the materials needed to facilitate a parent group or group of parents together with their teens is included on this CD. You will be able to click on the related documents and print them and/or use them directly from this CD as desired. This self-explanatory lesson can be facilitated by staff in Extension, schools, or public health agencies; professionals from faith or community-based organizations; as well as volunteers who work with parents.
