Thriving with Your Teen is a colorful, engaging 18-page booklet offers ideas to help strengthen relationships with teens, ideas about the adult role models' job, what teens want their parents to know and what parents of teens say about parenting. For parents of teens and others working with teens. This booklet was originally created by the Initiative for Violence Free Families and Communities in Ramsey County. Its content is the result of focus groups with youth and parents about what it takes to "thrive with your teen". The strategies reflect the research in youth development and adolescent parent child relationships.
