IntroductionDuring this session you will more learn about the impact divorce will have on your life. You will gain a better understanding of the process of divorce and how much of your life divorce affects. You will look at tools to help you adapt to a new life. This session also examines unrealistic expectations people often bring into relationships, and how those expectations can lead to a marriage that is more likely to falter or fail. Ways to amend or avoid these kinds of expectations in a new relationship are discussed. You are taught about anger, and how to cope with its manifestations. Methods of diffusing anger are suggested to help you handle your emotions in new ways. Stress is also discussed, including how to recognize and cope with it. Finally, family safety needs are addressed. You are taught how to avoid conflict and where to turn in times of need. You are taught how to know whether you or your children have been abused. You are given current information about keeping yourself safe, now and in the future.
