SWROC’s Winter Crops and Soils Day on Wednesday, February 7, 2007

On Wednesday, February 7, 2007 from 9 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Southwest Research and Outreach Center (SWROC) in Lamberton, MN, will host Winter Crops and Soils Day. The program addresses a variety of current challenges facing producers, in particular, corn on corn production. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m.
Speakers from the University of Minnesota’s St. Paul Campus and Research and Outreach Centers will cover topics including tillage, nutrient and insect management in corn-on-corn production, financial analysis of SW MN crop production, the economics of high yield and maintaining profitable soybean production.
