The Minnesota Crop Production Retailers (MCPR) and the University of Minnesota Extension Service have announced that they will develop a joint educational and trade show opportunity for agricultural professionals. The 2006 Crop Pest Management Short Course and MCPR Trade Show will be December 5-7, 2006 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The cooperative effort is in response to the changing needs of today’s agricultural professionals and audience surveys conducted jointly by the UM and MCPR.

The University of Minnesota Extension Service Crop Pest Management (CPM) Short Course has a 25-year history of supplying agricultural professionals with the research-based education and solutions they need for their professions as well as for maintaining their licensure. The Extension Service is expanding this tradition by providing high-quality curriculum and information in cooperation with a large MCPR annual event. Increased choices, opportunities, and convenience are all benefits to the audience of these events.
