Fifteen SS&W Youth Ambassadors attended the training October 13-14, 2012 at the Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center! Youth received training in etiquette, public speaking, creating and sharing your personal mission statement, and creating a group mission statement.
"Collectively, as the Minnesota 4-H SS&W Ambassadors, we are the voice of the youth by leading, encouraging, and setting a good example. We strive to build confidence and promote new experiences in the youth through 4-H".
In 2013, these youth will participate at the NWTF State Convention, Pheasants Forever Pheasant Fest, and the Minnesota Governor's Deer Hunter Opener.

Vote for National 4-H Shooting Sports!
Wingshooting USA helps members, supporters raise funds with a mouse click!
Scott Linden hopes to put TruckVault's money where his viewers' mouse is. The second annual version of his public service fundraiser launches June 25 on the six TV networks carrying his show, Wingshooting USA. Dubbed "TruckVault Cares ... about conservation, canines & kids," the initiative motivates sportsmen to raise funds and awareness for six different groups, and possibly win prizes for themselves.
Go online and vote for National 4-H Shooting Sports by December 31, 2012!
Last year, each group was represented at the online voting site by a Labrador puppy. Viewers have chosen English Setters as the breed for this year's pups. Every vote puts kibble into the pup's food bowl and sends a proportional amount of the $10,000 fund to that group's treasury.
Wingshooting USA is the official TV series of the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Created and hosted by Scott Linden, the program airs on six networks year-round, available in 207 million households via cable, satellite and over-the-air stations in all media markets.

FEDERAL AMMO ORDER UPDATED!!Effective September 1st, Federal will be accepting shotshell orders again. The target loads are still backordered, so it may take several months for delivery. However, they will prioritize youth orders with a goal of delivering by the end of January. The attached order form does have some configurations blacked out because those products are probably not going to be available in time. The discount program may not be available in the spring of 2013, so please plan accordingly.
ALSO -
Attached you will find the order form for the 2012-13 Champion Traps and Target Youth Discount Program. Federal is no longer offering the basic Easybird thrower (single stack) in the youth program. The Easy Bird Six Packer has been their most popular youth thrower because it holds 150 clays at a time. The model with an oscillator (rotates back and forth on the horizontal plane) can throw the same target presentation as a standard ATA thrower, so this model is great for modified trap ranges. They are also offering eye and ear protection, as well as a trap-shooters range bag at significant discounts.
