Gardening is a popular hobby and demand for gardening information is high. We deliver research-based, up-to-date gardening information to the public through the web, publications, the media, classes, workshops and demonstration sites. We also teach Master Gardeners, volunteers who work for Extension teaching horticulture in their communities. Master Gardeners work in every county in Minnesota, answering gardening questions, solving problems by selecting plants for public sites, writing for the media, and teaching youth and adults through classes and workshops at many locations including schools, assisted living facilities, and community gardens.
