• List of Restricted Use Pesticides Registered in Minnesota as of 11/30/10 (359 K PDF) - expect a few changes since. If someone wants to check on a product, go to the MDA public pesticide product registration search website at: http://www2.mda.state.mn.us/webapp/lis/productsdefault.jsp and in the pesticide registration search box, uncheck the "Last Registered Year" box and then check one of the "Restricted Only" buttons (by co. name, product name, or EPA Reg. No.). The search results will give you all RUP products, and the registration status ("C" in Status Code column means cancelled).

• 2012 Fungicides (2.49 MB PPT) this module was developed by Liz Stahl and Dean Malvick. A few TurningPoint slides were added for 2012. Slides 28-33 are hidden.

Other modules you may use if covered all of the above

• 2012 Agricultural Health Study (3.87 MB PPT) - Brad Carlson. Know how to place the health risks ID through this study in context. Some understanding of long term health risk is helpful when giving this presentation. Presentation is long so you may choose to hide some slides depending on audience. Contact Brad Carlson or Dean Herzfeld if you have questions.
• 2012 Safety Practices and Pesticide Exposure (1.52 MB PPT) - Dean Herzfeld & Lisa Behnken. Also know as "How do you Rate?" This interactive presentation was adapted from a PowerPoint by Jim Wilson, South Dakota State University. It's based on Purdue's "Farm Family Exposure to Pesticides" publication and goes well with the Glove presentation.
• 2012 "Take Control" IPM intro Slides (5.13 MB PPT) - This PowerPoint uses the "Take Control" theme thatgot its start with the Crops Team. It'sdesigned to fit with the Individualized Pest Management (IPM) section, but can alsobe used outside of PPAT where it makes sense. The theme centers around the idea that while several things are out ofproducers' control, controlling crop inputs (hybrid/variety selection, nutrientmanagement, IPM, resistance management) is something they can and shoulddo. This general framework is flexible so that you can jump off in (almost) any direction! Feel free to change photos as needed. The short set also includes conclusion slidesthat Lisa Behnken developed that nicely wrap up the "Take Control" theme.
• 2012 Invasive Species in Agriculture Landscapes (2.18 MB PPT) - This short 13 slide PowerPoint module covers 4 Invasive Species that are important to farmers and rural MN landscapes. Farmers and rural landowners may not be aware of these pests. They include, Buckthorn (woody - tree), Emerald Ash Borer (insect that kills Ash trees), Oriental Bittersweet (woody - vine) and Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (which invades over 300 host plants including corn and soybeans). MDA and DNR have ID cards and/or fact sheets on each of these invasive species. Contact Gary Wyatt if you have questions or would like any of the handouts mentioned.
• MN Soybean videos - this series of six short YouTube videos are 4 1/2 to 6 minutes each on a variety of soybean topics from weed management to aphids.
