Patricia is an applied economist from the University of Minnesota. She has extensive experience working with communities and BR&E consultants on BR&E visitation programs. Patricia was the director of the University of Minnesota's internationally recognized BR&E program, has worked directly with eleven local BR&E programs, and has instructed hundreds of economic developers and community leaders in both the classroom and online BR&E consulting courses since 1998. She has also taught the University's BR&E Research Reports and Community Economic Analysis courses. She received her certification from Business Retention and Expansion International (BREI) in 1995 and has been involved in teaching and/or practice of BR&E consulting ever since. In addition, Patricia has consulting experience on a wide range of community and economic development issues. She has served on her city's economic development commission and on the boards of several community organizations.
