Join our four speakers in discussing the overall agricultural economy, impacts of agricultural surveys, marketing challenges, and tax legislation.
- Matt Diersen, Professor in Agricultural Economics from South Dakota State University, addressing the current overall agricultural economy and structural observations.
- Dan Lofthus, State Statistician, USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service, discussing the use, importance and impacts of agricultural surveys.
- Ed Usset, Grain Marketing Economist, Center for Farm Financial Management, University of Minnesota, presenting the “Post-Harvest Marketing Challenge”.
- Rob Holcomb, Extension Educator, Agricultural Business Management, University of Minnesota Extension, discussing current and potential tax legislation and impacts to producers.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Cost: $60 for online registration completed before August 1. $75 for online registration completed after that.
