Education

• M.Ed from the University of Minnesota in Vocational Education
• BS from South Dakota State University in Public Recreation Administration and Child Development
• Certificate in distance teaching and learning from the University of Minnesota’s College of Education and Human Development

Work Experience

Prior to working as an Extension Educator, Eric led county-wide 4-H programs in central and southeastern Minnesota, taught classes on the effects of divorce on children and on parenting adolescents, and developed conflict resolution programs in schools. He has worked with youth and with adults who work with youth both professionally and as a volunteer in his community.
