Our goals are to...

• teach about the use of better adapted, low maintenance turfgrass.
• improve turfgrass managers' knowledge of phosphorus and fertilizers for improved effectiveness.
• minimize harmful environmental effects while controlling pests.
• encourage environmentally-responsible turf management to reduce inputs of water and fertilizer.

We conduct field research and offer research-based educational presentations, courses, training and web resources to turfgrass managers, Master Gardeners and the public.
