Stormwater U: About Us/Join Us
The University of Minnesota Stormwater Education Program works with many organizations to help protect water quality by how we design, build, and live in our communities. We provide workshops and opportunities for local governments and design professionals to reduce the environmental impacts of stormwater runoff.
What’s Stormwater U?
We promote innovative stormwater best management practices among the stormwater practitioners: contractors, developers, engineers, and field staff through locally tailored workshops currently known as Stormwater U.
These workshops focus on important stormwater issues facing Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) operators such as cities and watersheds. Stormwater U workshops are designed to help MS4’s meet their stormwater permit minimum control measure requirements.
