As a revised and expanded Dollar Works curriculum, Dollar Works 2 is a comprehensive package that gives educators and service providers the tools for teaching personal finance to individuals and families. Dollar Works 2 is based on information from focus groups that involved Dollar Works users and Latino audiences. The curriculum is unique in that it contains Action Pages that take learners from practice to application of financial concepts in their own lives.
Dollar Works 2 contains twelve independent units that include teaching goals, learning targets, lists of terms, Action Pages, and evaluation tools. Instructor resources help with planning and delivering a successful teaching session. All handouts have been culturally adapted for English and Spanish speaking audiences.
