Are you a Latino or East African person in Minnesota who is renting a house or apartment? Whether you are a new or experienced renter, the Latino and East African Financial Literacy Program staff are here to help.

Using the RentWise Renter’s Education Program we will help you…

• Know your rights and obligations under Minnesota law.
• Know your property manager’s rights and obligations under Minnesota law.
• Understand the paperwork — lease agreements, contracts, etc.
• Keep good records.
• Keep good relationships with your property manager and neighbors.

All services are confidential and free of charge.

Our experienced bilingual staff offer one-on-one appointments and group classes in your community.  If you complete all nine hours of RentWise, you will earn a certificate of completion.
