Family Mealtime Online Course

This is a free online course that helps families understand the importance of family mealtime.

Through this course you will learn:

  • Family mealtime experiences you had growing up influence what you do in your family today.
  • Why family meals are important and how children learn by being part of family meals.
  • How family meals benefit all family members but especially the children.
  • Tips for getting started with family meals; increasing the number of family meals; and making mealtime time more pleasant, enjoyable, and doable for everyone.
  • Different cultures have different patterns around mealtime and eating which need to be considered.

This course is free and takes about an hour to complete. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate.

Are you in the MFIP/TANF program? This course counts as one hour as a Core TANF activity for Life Skills Training. See other MFIP/TANF offerings.

You can gain immediate access to this course by following these simple instructions.
