Tips when you arrive on site:

• Arrive half an hour before the program starts:
  • To meet with the Field Day organizer.
  • So that you are able to start your observation when the students get off the bus.
• Discuss with the Field Day organizer how feedback should be provided to organizers and presenters.
• Ask for a copy of the map.
• Find out if advance material was sent to teachers and if an evaluation will be done by students at the end of the day (or sent to them later).
• Decide which stations you will observe.
• Introduce yourself to the presenters.
• If you are observing the Field Day alone, decide which stations you will observe to guarantee a range of student groups. Complete at least four to six stations during the day.
