In association with the NAAEE 38th Annual Conference, we will host a rare workshop for environmental education professionals on October 7 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, OR. This full-day workshop will empower you to improve your events in the following ways:

- Planning a comfortable and memorable setting
- Ensuring your day runs safely and smoothly
- Creating more useful evaluations
- Marketing your event
- Connecting your program to academic standards
Workshop cost is $109. All workshop participants will receive the Best Practices for Field Days: A Program Planning Guidebook for Organizers, Presenters, Teachers and Volunteers and a companion CD of tools and templates. You will also receive protocols, materials and be trained to evaluate field days using the new NSF-funded Evaluation Tool for Assessing Environmental Field Days.
