Are you a Latino person in Minnesota who is renting a house or apartment? Whether you are a new or experienced renter, the Latino Financial Literacy Program staff are here to help.
Using the RentWise program will help you:
- Know your rights and obligations under Minnesota law.
- Know your property manager’s rights and obligations under Minnesota law.
- Understand the paperwork — lease agreements, contracts, etc.
- Keep good records.
- Keep good relationships with your property manager and neighbors.
All services are confidential and free of charge.
Our experienced bilingual staff offer one-on-one appointments and group classes in your community. If you complete all six hours of RentWise, you will earn a certificate of completion.
