M Beef Cow/Calf Days 2007
University of Minnesota Beef Cow/Calf
Days are a popular program designed to provide current
information on issues facing the beef industry and new
technologies availble to producers. They are held at
nine locations throughout the state--each location has
a customized agenda tailored to the needs of the local
producers in that area. Also included at every location
are core topics of interest statewide. Core topics in
the 2007 agenda include:

Current Updates on Industry Issues (Beef Team Research, Bovine TB, and Animal ID)
- Targeting a Branded Beef Program
- A New Look at Fall Grazing (Windrow Grazing)
- Feeding Distillers Grain to the Cow/Calf Herd
- Planning and Zoning for Animal Agriculture at the Local Level
Registration Fee: $25 / family or farm
We ask that you pre-register one week prior to the event
that you would like to attend with the location coordinator.
