Agricultural Risk Management

combine in field

Agricultural producers face very uncertain markets with narrow margins. Producers need to balance the cost and benefits of risk management approaches to protect their businesses from adversity while maintaining profitability. We provide educational programs and software tools that teach producers and professionals about risk management concepts, tools to mitigate risk, and the historical returns to risk management approaches.

You will learn about revenue-based crop insurance in a grain marketing plan, pre-harvest grain marketing, and how to develop and implement a pre-harvest grain marketing plan. We serve farmers, marketing clubs, crop insurance agents, agricultural lenders, elevator managers and farm management staff.
